Walk

Walking from Bank Street:

  • From Bank Street near Billings Bridge, walk west toward Riverside Drive.
  • Continue west along the pedestrian route toward the RA Centre.
  • The RA Centre grounds will be on your left as you approach 2451 Riverside Drive.
  • Follow the pedestrian access onto the grounds and proceed to the main gate.
  • The RA Centre is a short walk west of the Bank Street/Billings Bridge area.

Walking from Carleton University:

  • Leave Carleton University toward University Drive/Bronson Avenue.
  • Head toward Heron Road and cross the George Dunbar Bridge over the Rideau River.
  • Continue toward Riverside Drive.
  • Follow the pedestrian route along Riverside Drive toward 2451 Riverside Drive.
  • Approach the grounds from Riverside Drive.
  • Follow the pedestrian walkway to the main gate.
  • Please use designated sidewalks and marked crossings when crossing roadways, driveways, or parking areas.
  • Look for the Main Gate on the grounds.

Tip: Enter 2451 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, ON into Google Maps or Apple Maps and select Walking for directions from your exact location on the Carleton University campus.

Bike

Planning to ride to the festival? There are designated Multiuse Paths that lead towards the RA Centre. A free, supervised bike park will be available on-site for your convenience.

Leave your bike in the designated bike park area and enjoy the festival! Bike park hours and location information will be shared closer to the festival.

Bus

The RA Centre ground’s are at 2451 Riverside Drive, between Bank Street and Bronson Avenue.

OC Transpo’s current network has changed significantly, so I wouldn’t rely on older directions that list routes such as 87 or 97. The most reliable approach is to use Billings Bridge Station as the nearby major transit connection and walk from there to the RA Centre. For example, Route 18 currently serves Billings Bridge and stops at Bank/Riverside.

Because the best bus depends heavily on where you’re starting, OC Transpo recommends checking its current Travel Planner before travelling.

Parking

Festival Parking is available at 875 Heron Road (there is NO public parking available at the RA Centre). Spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

LOT HOURS: 4:30 PM – 11:30 PM on all festival days.

The lot is accessible to CityFolk parking passholders from 4:30 PM on all festival days. 

PASS MUST BE PRINTED AND DISPLAYED ON THE *DASHBOARD* WHEN THE VEHICLE IS PARKED IN THE LOT.

There are NO in/out privileges. Overnight parking is NOT permitted. Vehicles not removed by 11:30 PM will be towed.
