50/50 Rules of Play and Regulations

  • Raffle License #1270606
  • Participants must be 18 years of age or older
  • All participants must be residents of Ontario
  • Tickets purchased will not be re-entered for future draws
  • ONE 50/50 Draw: September 17th 2022 at 10:30pm. Location: Ottawa Lansdowne Park accounting office of Cityfolk Festival
  • Winner will receive 50% of the total sales proceeds and the remainder will be put towards Cityfolk’s Folk in the Schools/Be in the Band Charity program to showcase local talent
  • CityFolk 50/50 raffle’s computerized system will draw the winning ticket after the closing of raffle sales on September 17th at 10:30pm. The winning number will be display on the 50/50 display monitors on site and listed at the www.cityfolkfestival.com website and social media platforms
  • Winner of the 50/50 winning prize can claim their prize at 450 Churchill Ave. N, Ottawa Ontario K1Z 5E2 during office hours
  • Winner is highly encouraged to call the office at 613-247-1188 ext. 227 or email at lal-bakri@ottawabluesfest.ca to arrange a time to come in to ensure all is ready for the winner upon arrival. The winner will need to provide the original ticket (no photocopy or picture copy will be accepted, unless purchased online) and personal photo ID to authenticate their identity and age
  • To ensure the integrity of the Cityfolk’s Charity Raffle, no staff directly involved in “raffle operation” decision making authority (and the family members of those listed) will be permitted to purchase 50/50 raffle tickets (Prohibited players). Any tickets purchased by prohibited players will be voided and no refund(s) issued
  • 50/50 prize will be awarded in the form of a certified cheque from our Raffle Trust account. No cash
  • Unclaimed 50/50 prize will be held for six months until March 31st 2023 at which time the unclaimed proceeds will be donated to a registered charity approved by AGCO
  • Players should be aware to contact Ontario Gambling Helpline at 1-888-230-3505 or at www.problemgamblinghelpline.ca if help is required
