Andrea Ramolo is a multiple Canadian Folk Music Award nominee and has been touring nationally and internationally for over 15 years. Her 7th studio record Quarantine Dream was made with an all-female production crew and features guest artists like Kinnie Starr, Madison Violet, Kathryn Calder, and more. As co-director and artist, Andrea won the 2022 Canadian Independent Music Video Award for her video Free (ft. Kinnie Starr). Andrea was one-half of the renowned folk harmony duo Scarlett Jane and has shared the stage with the late Gordon Lightfoot, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Madison Violet, Adam Cohen and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and more. Her newest musical project is a cultural collaboration supported by the Canada Council for the Arts exploring her ancestral Italian folk music and dance. Her 8th album THE SOUTH featuring Italian band Kalàscima along with her first documentary film by the same name was released this past summer followed by festival performances at Calgary Folk, Vancouver Folk, Mariposa, Northern Lights, Sunfest, Ness Creek festivals, Harbourfront Amphitheatre, and more. Andrea sings in English and Italian and is working on her 9th self-produced studio record.
