There are a lot of other things going on! We have vendors of all types, local draft beer, commemorative merchandise, promotions and contests, greening initiatives AND Marvest – a free event that collaborates with local businesses to spotlight Ottawa talent in unconventional venues.
Gates open at 5 PM on weekdays, 1 PM on weekends. Headliners end at about 10 PM nightly, and late night programming (Aberdeen/Marvest) at about 1 AM.
Tickets will be sold at the CityFolk box office, located adjacent to the TD Place box office on Exhibition Way. This opens at 4 PM on event weekdays, 1PM on event weekends.
Note that pricing is subject to change, and we cannot predict wait times on busy evenings. Purchase your tickets in advance for the smoothest festival experience.
Re-entry: patrons can leave and re-enter the festival. You MUST scan out BEFORE leaving the park if you intend to return later that day – no exceptions!
Please see a gates attendant PRIOR to exiting the festival gates if you are unclear on how this works.
You can walk, bike, bus, or drive to the festival! Your transportation options are listed on our Directions page.
The Great Lawn is a general admission (GA) event NOT held at TD Place (the stadium) but behind it.
There is no seating in GA. Patrons may bring collapsible lawn chairs to use in the designated lawnchair section located on the North side of the hill only. If you are bringing a lawn chair:
- Share your space. Fold chairs when not in use.
- Please don’t block paths or entrances.
Note – there are no lawnchairs allowed at the RavenLaw Stage due to space limitations.
Thanks for your cooperation!
RavenLaw Stage inside the Horticulture Building has limited capacity. If you plan to see a certain show at RavenLaw, be sure to get there early for your best chance at securing a spot. Space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis
Children (Ticketed shows)
Children under 10 do not need a ticket when accompanied by a parent.
We recommend bringing earplugs and planning a meeting spot in advance with young children in case of separation. Not all acts are suitable for all audiences.
BSOMA Kidzone activities are planned on weekend afternoons from 1-6PM. These activities are free! See more on the Participate page.
“Student Rush” Same-Day Tickets
School may be back in session, but the fun isn’t over just yet! Student rush passes will be available each day at CityFolk. Discounted student passes will be available at the festival box office daily. Arrive early to get a deal!
